In an effort to raise money for UNICEF, the school partook in World Children’s Day today. The theme chosen by the Eco Council was that everyone had to come to school dressed in blue.
A day of heightened awareness of children’s causes and situations around the world was had as we all joined in with a truly global celebration.
To top it all off, an amazing £150 was raised for our chosen charity!

#WorldChildrensDay2023
After the success of our endeavours in 2022, Sacred Heart P.S. will be once again running our annual Pantry Foodbank appeal for Christmas 2023.
Donations can be left to the school from Monday 27th November to Friday 1st December inclusive. There will be a box located at the main school entrance from Monday that donated items can be put into all through the week. We do not want families going to any huge expense over this initiative. We are just grateful that you can donate what you can for this great cause. Only one item from the list is needed from each pupil in each class. If people want to bring extra in that is ok.
Thank you.

Caoimhe P3
Caoimhe is an extremely well behaved and well-mannered pupil. She loves taking part in all class activities. She is a great friend to everyone in P3 and always thinks of others.
Caoimhe takes immense pride in her work and produces well presented and tidy outcomes. Caoimhe loves sharing stories with the class and enjoys talking about her own personal interests. She has a keen skill in Art and has produced some excellent pieces throughout activity-based learning.
Caoimhe has been working really hard with tricky words and has shown a solid confidence within her reading. She also shows great speed and agility during PE.
We are very proud of how hard Caoimhe has been working in school and at home.
Well done!
