This week, we celebrated Valentine’s Day - we made lovely cards, love bugs, flowers and poems for a very special person. We discussed what we loved including our interest, food, family etc.
Well done to all the P3 children. Your castles are wonderful, so creative and resourceful. I am so proud of you all. So much work has gone into these; far more than what was expected. We had castles made from wood, castles with fairy lights, castles with battle fields, moats and miniature figures. We even had Rapunzel’s and family crests. They are incredible and the children are so proud of themselves and their “masterpieces.”
Back to School
This week we focussed on colour and learned about the story of the Day the Crayon Quit. We pretended we were crayons and wrote letters describing our feelings. We began our procedural writing on how to cross the road safely. In Numeracy, we created a pictogram on our favourite colour, measured with non standard units and began counting forwards to 50. In WAU we made crayons and talked about colours around us and even carried out an experiment to see what would happen to skittles if warm water was added. We also enjoyed lots of outdoor play!!!!!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
