A wonderful evening was had by all at the switching on of the Christmas tree lights at Murlough Sands. Our school choir were immense under the stewardship of Mr Doyle and their selection of festive favourites kept the huge crowd in attendance entertained throughout. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
As part of our initiatives within the Scoil Spreagtha project, we have created a Tá Gaelige Againn board in school.
Every week there will be a focal na seachtaine (word of the week). This week’s word was ‘maidin mhaith.’ We will also be introducing a Gaeilgeor na Míosa (Irish Speaker of the Month award).
