To wrap up their WAU topic, The Farm, P1 enjoyed a fantastic ASPIRE trip to Streamvale Farm alongside their friends from Knockevin.
With the sun shining, the children had the chance to see and learn about a variety of animals, with the puppies and rabbits being firm favourites. They watched an exciting sheepdog agility show, took a fun tractor ride and ended the day playing in the cannonball and tractor area.

Production of candles from Sacred Heart Scents is well underway. P7 have been working hard, ensuring that they produce a top quality product for you!
Candles will be on sale Friday 11th April in the school hall during drop off and pick up times. There is limited stock so make sure you get them before they’re gone!
The Ignite team visited Sacred Heart P.S. today to lead our P7’s in a retreat as part of the preparations for their Confirmation. It was highly beneficial to our boys and girls and they garnered a lot of understanding and learning from it in relation to this upcoming sacrament.
Thank you to Deacon Mark, Jolene and Emma for facilitating the retreat and for providing such a valuable experience for our P7’s.

3D shapes were the focus for Mr Doyle’s class today as the boys and girls took to creating them using a range of different materials. This hands-on session explored the properties and applications of various 3D shapes. The class brilliantly engaged in creating and analysing different solid figures such as cubes, spheres, pyramids and cylinders.
