Our newly revamped After School Club Programme for Term 3 will begin on Monday 25th April and run through to Wednesday 29th June.
As ever, we aim to provide an exciting and varied programme that caters for all of our children. For Term 3 the following will be offered: Play Based Learning, Outdoor Adventure Club, STEAM, Multi-Sports, Arts and Crafts, Netball, Games, ICT, Homework Club, ActiSport, Coding and Gaelic Football.
Each session is £2 and this represents excellent value for money. SchoolMoney is used for all payments and it has been updated to reflect the new schedule. Please ensure that all After School Clubs are paid for by the Sunday of the incoming week.
Thank you.
Miss Crozier’s P6/P7 class hosted their JEP Showcase Day on Friday. Their product, Be Happy Bands, proved to be extremely popular and in the space of one hour of sales, all 200 sold out!
Well done to the boys and girls for creating such a successful brand and for selling them out in record quick time. A profit of near £300 has been generated and this highlights the superb business accumen of all involved.
Well done to everyone on their efforts!
A hugely successful Bake Sale in aid of Trócaire took place in school yesterday. Thank you is relayed to all those parents/carers and families who sent in goods. Appreciation is also shown for the support of the event from the school staff and our P5 class who facilitated the Bake Sale throughout the day.
Charitable donations have been coming in these past few days. Final donations can be made on Monday before a grand total can be presented to a Trócaire representative on behalf of the school.
Caoimhe from P1 was this week’s recipient of the Principal’s Award. Caoimhe is a very well mannered and happy child who is a great friend to all in P1. She completes her work with detail and has produced some excellent handwriting pieces over the last few weeks. Caoimhe loves participating in classroom activities and she is an excellent representative of all the values that embody Sacred Heart P.S. Caoimhe is very kind and shows a great willingness to share with and look after her friends.
Today the school took delivery of a new water butt. The butt will be used to store rain water. When it rains, the water is caught in a section and flows down into the butt. Collected water can then be used to water plants etc.
Delighted to be taking receipt of the water butt are Eco Council members Kayden, Niall, Cara, Austin and April.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
