Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Today at our online assembly, Ruadhán from P3 was chosen as the Principal’s Award winner.
Ruadhán has many great attributes. He has a very caring side especially when interacting with his friends and family. He gives 100% to everything that he does in school. Not to mention that he is a supremely talented Gaelic footballer who loves PE.
Well done Ruadhán!
The Eco Council for the new academic year are currently engaged in planning for the completion of a number of objectives that have been mapped out since September.
The grouping use their planning board as a reference tool for all the work that they undertaken and for what they intend to to do moving forward.
The whole school can also keep up to date with all the Eco related activities taking place in school as the board is located in our school hall way.
Keep up the great work!
After whole school consultation and under the guidance of our school Eco Council, today we launched our newly revised Eco-Code for Sacred Heart P.S.
P7 pupil Niamh had her vision for the Eco-Code recognised and thus it will now be put on display in every classroom in the school as we here in Sacred Heart P.S. aim to act and live it out.
Anti-Bullying Week 2021 started on Monday and runs to this Friday. It is an annual event with this year’s slogan promoting ‘One Kind Word.’
Today in Sacred Heart P.S. the KS2 pupils (P5, P6 and P7) came together for an online workshop led by the team at HIP Psychology.
The main focus was on the conditions and types of bullying behaviour. The children learned that together we can be stronger by calling bullying behaviour out, asking others if they are ok and being inclusive of others. The boys and girls also picked up on how we interact with others can impact on how they feel and perform on tasks.
