The boys and girls in Miss Byrne’s Outdoor Adventure After School Club were the first to get to use our new den building equipment that recently arrived to the school.
We are continually investing in new resources, outdoor and classroom based, to ensure the maximum amount of learning opportunities are afforded to our children.
CORE Kids are hosting their summer camps at Sacred Heart P.S. Dundrum, on 11th - 13th July for children aged 4 - 12 years old.
CORE Kids mission is to provide as many positive physical activity experiences, so children stay active for life. During their summer camps, they will provide fun games, well-being activities and multi-sports that will help improve confidence, fundamental movement skills and friendships, to name but a few.
The camp costs £32.50 for three days from 10am - 12 pm, Monday - Wednesday.
These camps are open to all children in our community. An expression of interest form can be completed at the link below. If there is sufficient interest, the camp will be confirmed and booking details will be released.

Well done!
As part of our partnership with Exploris, we have been given the loan of a mini aquarium for the school. It is currently situated in the P2 classroom. With ‘Under the Sea’ being their World Around Us topic, the aquarium has been a huge focal point for the boys and girls.
Writing themes, scientific observations, art creations, numeracy estimating challenges and general research tasks have all been taking place with our new resident lobster, sea sponge, tube worm and starfish at the centre of it all!
Last week our P5 class led the May Triduum celebrations in the Sacred Heart Church. As part of the event, the class participated in preparatory tasks with one being a colouring competition in honour of Mary.
Our three winners were delighted to be given their prizes today namely Cara 1st, Lorcan 2nd and Charlie 3rd.
Thank you goes to Aishling Steen, our local Faith Development co-ordinator, for her guidance in relation to the Triduum and for her participation in the additional aspects of the event.

He has been a well-mannered and responsible boy who is a good friend to everyone in his class.
