• Parent Engagement Sessions

  After a couple of productive engagement sessions that were held during the 2021/22 academic year, Father Fleck has once again intimated that he would like to continue these into this new school year.

  Therefore, this coming Thursday (13th October), there will be an informal session in the school hall at 3pm with Father Fleck. Topical issues of the day which are parish related along with anything else that our parents/families would like to talk about, will be open for discussion.

  Parents that attend can have their child/children looked after at After School Club.

• After School Construction Club

  Today in Construction Club, students were given a challenge to create a tower using only spaghetti and play dough. They then tested the structures by placing small weights on top. The teams quickly discovered that team work makes the dream work!

  

• P1 Admissions - September 2023

  The online process for admissions to P1 in Sacred Heart P.S. opens on Tuesday 10th January 2023. It will close on Friday 27th January 2023 with places being confirmed by Thursday 27th April 2023.

  Noah - P5

  Noah has made a superb start to life in P5. He has been eager to learn from the outset and this commitment to his school work has been outstanding. 

  Noah contributes to P5 in so many ways, whether it be joining in with group work, offering views/opinions during discussions or assisting a friend. 

  He has a very positive outlook and this has ensured that he has given his best effort to any task that he has taken on so far.

• Mass Notices

  - School choir (P4, P5, P6 and P7) are singing at Mass tomorrow evening in Dundrum (6:30pm). Children to be present from 6:15pm.

  - Beginning of year school mass takes place this coming Monday at 9:30am in the chapel. Everyone is welcome to attend.

  The children in P1 have been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly, which is certainly one of the most amazing transformations in nature. 

  The boys and girls have used some great observational language, created brilliant drawings and have even written an array of fantastic sentences!
