Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
P2 took to the shore today to participate in an art activity as part of their World Around Us topic: Under the Sea. Inspired by the work of Andy Goldsworthy, the boys and girls created an octopus and an anchor out of shells and rocks.
Goldsworthy is an English sculptor, photographer, and environmentalist who produces site-specific sculptures and land art situated in natural and urban settings.
Fine work everyone!
As our P7’s prepare to leave Sacred Heart P.S. for a new location in September, we were delighted to welcome Carlos Sanha from HIP into school to deliver a Transitions workshop.
The workshop drew on themes to help our pupils prepare for the changes that their new environs will bring namely: big school routine, working the clock, daily preparation, timetable reading along with active listening.
A most worthwhile learning curve for our boys and girls. Thanks HiPerformance Consultancy.
