School will be closed for all of next week, 15th to 19th February inclusive, for our Mid-Term Break. We will reopen on Monday 22nd February for Supervised Learning for Key Worker/Vulnerable Children. Our Remote Learning programme will also restart on this day.
A huge well done goes to all our pupils, parents and staff for their sterling efforts over these past six weeks. With a high level of collaboration, we have ensured that the period was a productive one for all of our children.
We hope that everyone has a very enjoyable and relaxing Mid-Term Break. Get plenty of rest and exercise.
Take care and stay safe.
Today, Tuesday 9th February, marks Safer Internet Day. The theme once again is: 'together for a better internet.' The day calls upon everyone to join together to make the internet a safer and better place for all, and especially for children and young people.
The pupils of Sacred Heart will have received tasks via SeeSaw and we would encourage everyone to be fully participant in these as we aim to raise awareness of safer internet practices.

*** Remote Learning - Week 4 ***
There were outstanding outcomes across the board this week as our programme of Remote Learning continued.
High levels of engagement have been evidenced through the tremendous standard of work that has been produced in Literacy, Numeracy, WAU, RE, PDMU and ICT.
Creativity in the Arts along with top efforts in PE based endeavours have ensured that our pupils continue to enjoy a positive Remote Learning experience.
A huge well done to the pupils, parents and staff for their sterling efforts to date.
*** Catholic Schools’ Week ***
This past week the school community of Sacred Heart participated in Catholic Schools’ Week. The theme this year was ‘Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith and Resilience.’
Each class, through their Remote Learning provision, undertook tasks guided by linked resources.
Prayer composition, learning about the Parish of Dundrum & Tyrella, practicing gratefulness along with a celebration of Grandparents Day were just some of the valuable activities that were undertaken.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
