The next five week block of our After School Programme commences on Monday 10th January and will run through to Friday 11th February.

As we aim to provide a broad and varied assortment of After School activities for our children, we can now offer:

Monday: Gardening, Forest School and Inventor's Club (STEAM).

Tuesday: Play Based Learning and Arts & Crafts.

Wednesday: Construction, ICT and Homework Club.

Thursday: ActiSport.

Friday: Games & ICT, Irish and Guitar.

Each session remains at £2 and represents excellent value for money. SchoolMoney is to be used for all payments.

Please note:

There has been high demand for places at Guitar on a Friday. For those who did not secure a place this time around, we do plan to run further Guitar slots in our programme throughout Term 2 and Term 3.

Guitar is open for all those in P4 - P7 inclusive. There will be three thirty minute sessions on a Friday with Mr Doyle (1:30pm to 2pm, 2pm to 2:30pm and 2:30pm to 3pm). Each session will have 6 attendees to ensure a better small group learning experience for everyone. Therefore we have to cap the number of children able to particpate at 18. The cost of the club is £2. The first 18 people to respond on this form (link below) will provisionally secure a slot for their child. Session allocation will then follow with the first After School Guitar Club taking place on Friday 14th January. Guitars will be provided by the school but children can bring their own too if they so wish.

P6/P7 Christmas Play 2021.

At our online school assembly this morning, we awarded our Pupil of the Month winners with their certificates and prizes.

December is always an incredibly busy month within Sacred Heart P.S. and this festive period was no different.

A huge well done goes to all the winners!

Owing to her amazing performance in the P4 Christmas play coupled with her excellent progress in her school work, Sofia was the most deserving of Principal’s Award winners this week. Well done Sofia and keep maximising all those great talents that you have!

Thank you to all of our school community for your support for this fundraising venture over the past few weeks. Thanks is also reserved to POSH for their organisation and drive for this particular undertaking. We are also indebted to those who sponsored prizes. This is highly valued by us all.

We have raised a staggering £1,819.52 for the school. As ever, this will all be invested into our children and their education.
