Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Mrs McPolin’s class have been hard at work this past month making their own castle creations. The finished products were wonderful and full of creativity and resourcefulness.
A lot of effort went into their construction. The children’s innovations saw castles made from wood, some with fairy light additions, castles with adjoining battle fields, moats and miniature figures. Family crests and the quirky inclusion of a Rapunzel character were some of the other creative touches!
Well done to all the boys and girls for their great work related to their Fairytales topic.
Martin (P7) from the School Council recently told us all about an initiative that involves collecting stamps in the lead up to Christmas. The idea is to take stamps off your Christmas cards and other post and the more you collect, the more that is then given to the RNIB charity.
We have a box in school for all stamps to be collected in and for every kilogram of stamps collected, the charity receives £20. All children are encouraged to bring any stamps from home into school.
