This week the school participated in the third and final Litter Less campaign challenge. The brief was to take part in a litter hunting trail. These trails were planned in school with our teachers as well at home with parents and families.
Building on our successful community based litter pick last November, the uptake for this challenge was superb. The P7 class were particularly creative as they got involved in a ‘Say it in a Snapshot’ element of the task. They took on the role of ‘Young Reporters’ and used their photo journalistic skills to gain interesting perspectives on our local environment.
As a school that is committed to the upkeep and preservation of our environs, we were enthused to take part in the Litter Less campaign these past few months. Well done to all our pupils and their families for the great effort that was given to such a worthwhile project!
