This morning our P4 class celebrated the Sacrament of First Holy Communion at a wonderful ceremony in the Sacred Heart Church led by Canon Fleck.
The boys and girls were excellently prepared and they participated wholeheartedly in the service with song, readings and prayer.
Gratitude is extended to P4 teacher Mr Doyle for guiding the class through this latest instalment in their spiritual journey. We also acknowledge the contribution of our classroom assistant Toni O’Neill for her sterling efforts as well.
To the school choir, under the direction of Mr Doyle and accompanied by Cora Kelly and Annette Kelly, we thank you for your superb input to the occasion.
We also recognise the efforts of our school staff for hosting a lovely occasion back in the school hall in which all those in attendance got the opportunity to celebrate in unison.
We hope the boys and girls enjoy the rest of their big day!
