An amazing afternoon was had today as we held our first ever Colour Run! All the boys and girls from Young at Heart and Sacred Heart P.S. gamely participated in a mile long walk, jog and run in aid of Daisy Lodge (Cancer Fund for Children) and school funds.
A fantastic time was enjoyed by everyone and with a vast array of colours on show it ensured a bright end to the week was had by all! Thank you to Dundrum GAC for the use of their pitch, to organiser Mrs Claire McGuigan, to all those staff and parents who helped out during the event and to Graham Crory of ActiSport for his warm up and musical entertainment.
To coincide with our event, our P4 pupil Ruadhán has been running a mile a day throughout the month of April to raise funds for Daisy Lodge. If you would like to support Ruadhán in his endeavours, please follow the link below. All donations are appreciated for a very worthy cause. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/claire-mcshane2?utm_source=whatsapp&utm_medium=fundraising&utm_content=claire-mcshane2&utm_campaign=pfp-whatsapp&utm_term=5c77e0f5d570439c9af9b8a980adc364&fbclid=IwAR2Kqp414D4d4nPz45eRLu8G15kAK8xIxbXZfZPLxCgazQIp31Cg6BdGjAo
