Rebecca P5, Ronan P5, Catarina P6, Jessie our classroom assistant and Miss Byrne represented Sacred Heart P.S. with great pride today at the Scoil Spreagtha celebration event in Ulster University, Belfast.
This special occasion brought together schools from across the North to champion the incredible efforts being made to promote the use of the Irish language in everyday school life. The event featured a range of activities, including ceol (music), machnamh (mindfulness) and even a lively game of Bingo Loco!
We are delighted to have been awarded the status of a Scoil Spreagtha for the second year in succession. Credit to Miss Byrne for leading this initiative and to all of our children and staff for their advancement of our native language in Sacred Heart P.S.
