Mourne Seafood Bar Visit
Miss Byrne’s P1 class headed to the Mourne Seafood Bar in Dundrum today as part of their new World Around Us topic, ‘Under the Sea.’
The children got to explore a variety of sea creatures with all their senses, even taste! This was a fantastic opportunity to learn about local sea creatures and how the food is caught locally, prepared and cooked.
Back in the classroom, P1 have created their very own Mourne Seafood Bar and have hugely enjoyed role playing as customers, servers and chefs. There have even been some tough food critics leaving reviews.
