Calling all parents and children (P1 to P7)! We warmly invite you to our Numeracy Parental Workshop to explore the 7 Mental Maths Strategies being taught in school.
💡 What You'll Learn:
- Counting On/Back: Making quick calculations by adding or subtracting from a number.
- Re-ordering: Rearrange numbers to make sums easier. - Partitioning: Break numbers into parts for simpler calculations. - Using Equivalence: Spot relationships between numbers to find solutions.
- Using Factors: Solve problems using factors of numbers. - Inverse Operations: Use addition and subtraction or multiplication and division to check answers.
- Round and Adjust: Round numbers to make calculations easier, then adjust for accuracy.
🔧 Practical Tips: Discover fun and practical ways to support your child’s learning at home. This interactive session will give you the confidence to reinforce Numeracy skills in everyday life while making Maths fun and accessible for the whole family.
