This morning, P3 welcomed renowned local chef Paul Cunningham into school to conduct a foraging workshop. The boys and girls were introduced to all different types of plant life and even got the chance to taste some, including elderflower, silverweed and sea radishes.
Following this, Paul took everyone to the shore to forage with the children learning about and discovering a vast array of edible plants.
Paul is fervent believer in zero waste and we as a community look forward to the opening of his sustainable food takeaway, ‘Scopers,’ in three week’s time in the village.
