Our 3rd annual pumpkin carving competition turned out to be a fantastic success with the standard of entries higher than ever!
Innovation, creativity and originality were high on the agenda as Annie (Young at Heart), Eimíle (P1), Logan (P2), Caoimhe (P3), Declan Óg (P4), Austin (P5), Charlie (P6) and Emily (P7) were all picked as winners.
Well done to everyone on their efforts!
We were extremely thankful this morning to the Tonn Ruray who came to school with cookies for the children and a lovely cake for all of the staff. This was a very kind gesture and we relay our immense appreciation to all at the Tonn Ruray for it.
Remember too that you can submit your child’s art competition entry into the cafe as well to be entered into the prize draw.

The school community of Sacred Heart P.S. came together this morning for a wonderful ‘Trip Down Memory Lane’ event which formed part of our ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations.
A fantastic turnout of past and current pupils were in attendance along with those who are associated with our school in different forms. Nostalgia and reflection were very much part of the vibe as everyone enjoyed the archives and memorabilia on show.
A sincere thanks goes to the staff of the school for their organisation and running of the event. Gratitude is also extended to all those who contributed material.
50 years on our current site is a milestone to be proud of. Next up is the Gala Ball on the 2nd March 2024. Watch this space for further details on it over the coming weeks.
