Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
And that’s a wrap…
Our Christmas productions came to a finish this afternoon and what a great couple of days we all had!
P1 kicked off proceedings yesterday morning with “The Nativity” whilst P2/P3 followed up in the afternoon with the brilliant “Ready Steady Elves.”
This morning it was P4’s “The Grinch” which started a trio of shows that included P5’s “A Device Free Christmas” and P6/P7’s “Sacred Heart’s Got Talent.”
A massive well done goes to all of our children for their fantastic performances across the board. They were all amazing. Thank you goes to our teachers and classroom assistants for their commitment and energy in ensuring that the plays and productions were such a success. We also acknowledge the support of our school community who came along to enjoy the various shows.
Recordings have been made of each production and once edited, they will be uploaded over the festive period to a platform for all to view.
Thank you.

Mr McCartan’s P2/P3 class have been working very hard on their home learning project which was to design a castle. This is directly linked with their current WAU topic of ‘Castles.’
The amount of industry and effort that went into these castles is a credit to the boys and girls. The children enjoyed showing off certain features of their castles and loved explaining to their classmates how they designed their castle and why they wanted it to look a certain way.
Well done to you all!
Miss Crozier’s P6/P7 class had a fun filled day of crafting. They made fantastic Christmas wreaths with pine branches, holly cuttings, berries and bows. They then created Christmas cards, using traditional carols as their inspiration. The boys and girls all created wonderful pieces of art to take home and give to their loved ones.
Grace P1
Congratulations to Grace, the well-deserved recipient of the Principal's Award this week! Polite, caring, and bright, she stands out as a fantastic member of the P1 class.
Grace's kindness extends to being a great friend who consistently lends a helping hand. Grace puts 100% effort into all areas of school life, we are all so impressed with how she can deliver her Christmas play lines with clarity and volume!
Excelling in Literacy and Numeracy, Grace's beautiful handwriting and imaginative storytelling set her apart. Her reliability in getting tasks done makes her an invaluable asset to our school.
