*** The Hodgeheg ***

Mr McCartan’s P2/P3 class have recently begun a new book called ‘The Hodgeheg.’ The children have found the story really funny and interesting so far, so today they took their learning outdoors with a Forest School lesson.

The boys and girls were each given some clay and challenged to create Max the Hedgehog from their new story. They thoroughly enjoyed roaming around the forest, searching for natural materials to add creative details to their hedgehogs. It was wonderful to see their imagination and enthusiasm come to life as they combined storytelling with outdoor learning.
