*** St Louis G.S. Kilkeel Netball Tournament Cup Winners ***

The girls of Sacred Heart P.S. all performed magnificently as a collective to win the Cup at the annual St Louis G.S. Kilkeel Netball Tournament today.

This was a phenomenal achievement for the team as they progressed through a marathon 8 games to take the spoils. During the 6 group games, Sacred Heart P.S. won 4, drew 1 and lost 1, which earned them a Top 2 position and passage through to the Cup semi final. Here they defeated St Columban’s P.S. Kilkeel 3-2 before emerging deserved victors, 2-0, over Holy Cross P.S. Atticall, in the final to capture the silverware. 

The panel of Hannah, Isla, Niamh, Catarina (joint captain), Aoibhe, Eilish, Annie, Darlene, Charley and Grace (joint captain) were sublime throughout the competition, showcasing a vast array of skill and competitiveness. Thanks goes to Mrs McCauley for having the team so well coached and prepared. A memorable victory!
