P7 travelled to Shimna College, Newcastle, this morning to take part in a Basketball NI Jnr NBA tournament alongside St Joseph’s P.S. Carnacaville. 

The boys and girls were sorted into four teams: The Chicago Bulls, The LA Lakers, The Phoenix Suns and The Boston Celtics. They enjoyed three competitive games each before the Bulls and the Celtics progressed to the final. With both teams drawing, the game went to extra time with the first basket winning. After a fierce few minutes, the Bulls came out victorious!

Well done to Charlie who was chosen as the Sacred Heart MVP and Niamh who was our MVE.
