*** Service of Light ***

This evening, the P7 boys and girls of the parish gathered with their families for the Service of Light, led by Canon Robert and Deacon James.

The ceremony marks a significant step on their journey towards Confirmation, symbolising the passing on of the light of faith from parents and sponsors to the young people preparing to receive the Holy Spirit.

With prayer, reflection, and the lighting of candles, the pupils were reminded of the call to carry Christ’s light into their homes, schools, and communities. It was a beautiful and meaningful celebration, filled with pride, hope, and quiet moments of grace.

Please keep our P7 pupils in your prayers in the weeks ahead as they continue their preparation for this important sacrament. Confirmation will take place on Thursday 7th May at 3pm. The service will be led by Bishop Alan.
