Sacred Heart P.S. welcomed Carole Harty and Sara Strange from Danske Bank into school today. After initiating financial literacy awareness among our pupils in the last academic year, it was felt important to continue this aspect of real life learning in 2024/2025.

Three workshops took place throughout the day with the following modules delivered:

P2/P3 - ‘Introduction: what is a bank?’
P4/P5 - ‘Services in a bank.’
P6/P7 - ‘The importance of living within a budget.’ 

Thank you to Carole and Sara from Danske Bank for their delivery of the programme. We believe that our children will have gained some valuable insight into the fiscal world!
